A graduate of the Playwright’s Programme at the Liverpool Everyman, Helen has had several plays produced including, The Brink and Gun Metal Blue, which won the Blink.Theatre Award for New Writing in 2017. Helen’s recent play, Buckled opened at the Shakespeare North Playhouse Studio in March 2024 and was programmed as part of ‘UP NEXT’ Festival at Unity Theatre in May 2024. In March 2025 Buckled toured to venues in the North West including 53Two, Manchester, Old Electric, Blackpool & The Arts Centre, Edge Hill.
