In 2024 Helen set up ‘Sober Scribbles’ for sober and sober-curious writers to come together, create and share work in alcohol free spaces. Since then there have been: 

• 7 in- person workshops
• 4 x 6-week online ‘Introduction to Playwriting Courses”
• 2 x 6 week “Introduction to Playwriting 2’ 
• a SCRATCH NIGHT at Unity Theatre, Liverpool where 5 writers got to showcase their script-writing skills to a live         audience and see their work performed by professional actors.
